Reclaiming your home can be such an overwhelming task that it’s an easy one to put off. But don’t wait another day. Contact me and together we’ll get your home in order so you can live the life you want.
(especially for Baby Boomers and Seniors)
Moving is one of one of the most frustrating experiences we go through. If you have to downsize at the same time, it’s ten times worse. I work with many Baby Boomers and Seniors who are simplifying their lives and want to simplify their belongings as well. This is the time to get off the roller coaster and think about what’s really important in our lives- and it’s never Stuff.
Our work together won’t just be about getting rid of things; we will focus on figuring out your values and goals, and deciding where you want concentrate your energy. Once we have a vision of where you want to be and what you want to do, we’ll evaluate your new home and put together a plan to pick out the belongings that fit your new life.
We’ll also spend some extra time thinking about what to do with any extra belongings. Perhaps you have a collection that you want to donate to a museum, or a large collection of books that would enhance a local library. Donating items to a favorite cause or charity will make sure that your belongings will be appreciated and used. This could be a good time to give special items to family members and friends so you can see them enjoy and use your gifts. And, of course, there are many options if you choose to sell belongings.
